Mr. Bill Cox serves as an Assistant Director for Facilities and Dining Administration. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the outsourced landscape and Engineering Design and Construction contracts for all Texas A&M University properties in Brazos County. Additionally, he leads departmental assessment functions and provides additional support for the administrative oversight of the outsourced maintenance and dining contracts.
Bill serves on the Texas A&M Facilities Managers Working Group, the Energy Action Plan (EAP) committee, and the Task Force for Campus Emergencies. Additionally, he has presented on topics including construction/renovation, outsourced custodial partnerships, integrating technology with building systems and emergency preparedness at regional and national conferences.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Nebraska – Kearney.
Prior to joining Facilities and Dining Administration, he worked in student union facilities and operations at Texas A&M University and in residence life facilities operations and administrative operations at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the University of Tennessee.
